Throughout my career as a music education advocate, professor, performer, and mentor, I have been vibrantly engaged in inspiring students, institutions and communities towards excellence in the arts.

My mission is to transform lives through music education. Â I believe deeply in the power of music to nurture growth, confidence, and connection across all ages, cultures, and backgrounds.

I have spent many years engaged as an applied lesson teacher and founder of a private music school, in addition to teaching at the college and university level as a Professor of Music. My experience as a performer, conductor, and director has allowed me to bring music to life through recitals, concerts and large-scale productions that engage and uplift communities.

Originally from Southern Africa, and having lived in the United States for many years, I bring a global perspective to my work. Â I learned to speak Afrikaans at a young age and am currently studying Dutch. Â I am thrilled to be living in the Netherlands!

Whether you are just beginning your musical journey or are an experienced musician, I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your full potential.
